LLC 2014 Class- Camp Kinard Project
Donation protected
Leadership Lexington County is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to cultivate a generation of leaders in Lexington County, South Carolina. Each year, the graduating class selects a community service project. The Class of 2014 has chosen Camp Kinard in Batesburg Leesville.
Camp Kinard is part of the South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers and is home to Camp Kemo, Camp Wonderhands as well as hosting various church groups and professional organizations year-round. Campers here enjoy a variety of activities including fishing, swimming, a high ropes course and hiking trails which give children and adults a safe retreat.
The class of 2014 along with the administration at Camp Kinard has identified the following structural additions to better accommodate its visitors: building several fishing platforms for the pond, a large pool-side gazebo and a handicap ramp to make the pool more accessible.
We need donations of supplies, financial support and volunteers for several work days.
How can you help? Select from several ways to support this project and support the future of Camp Kinard. Your company can pledge the dollar amount in financial support or the equivalent in products and services. Needed supplies include: lumber, nails, tarps, paint and supplies, concrete, volunteer services, refreshments (snacks and water for volunteers).
