Ellerbee Family

After hearing their story through KDVR, I felt compelled to try and help this family.

After his mother struggled, and they lost their home, the family was separated. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, admirable 17-year-old Dominic Ellerbee has remained positive, and turned to music for his relief. After living in a van for 14 months, mother Madonna, has finally saved enough money to get an apartment.

That brings me to why I decided to start this fundraiser...they have nothing to fill their home. I feel it's the little things in life we all take advantage of, like simply having your own bed to sleep in. I know what it is like to struggle when you have children, and I think so many others can relate as well. I only want the family to know they are not alone, and that our hearts are with all of them as they start the next chapter in their lives.
