Healthy, healing care for Elizabeth

As background, Elizabeth had been having some stomach discomfort, and it got bad enough on Thursday, July 16 that she and Steve went to the ER. From there, she was admitted for surgery to remove a tumor that had formed in her colon. The surgery went very well and the section of affected colon was removed.

5) FOOD: Please do not bring food to the farm – Elizabeth’s dietary needs are evolving and very specific. We have set up this gofundme account to help Steve and Elizabeth to utilize the advice of nutritionists and purchase healthy, healing foods that Elizabeth will need in the months ahead. The fund will also help cover unexpected healthcare costs, acupuncture and massage therapy.
6) FLOWERS: We have gorgeous bouquets that were sent to the hospital, and they have provided so much brightness to the sterile hospital environment. Now that Elizabeth is transitioning home, we would love to fill her garden with perennial flowers and foods, which feed the soul and the land! If you’d like to help in this way, please leave perennial flowers in the package box at the end of Deer Run Lane or call Sean at Edible Acres (www.edibleacres.org) for recommendations and to purchase an edible plant.
