My Parents have been in and out of the hospital a few years back getting opeations done on their knees and arms because they're getting older, but then my dad was hit by a taxi cab. So he was out of work one summer and that september the electric company hit us with a huge bill of about $9,000 saying that we haven't paid in 3 years, which I find funny because within a few months of not paying they would cut off the electricity. So my dad tried to save up some money, since the lights have been cut off, to pay them but, within that time, the bill has been steadily increasing as late fees were applied.

After a while, we all became depressed and we have found other means of living without electricity. It has been working living off of car batteries and inverters and propane tanks for heating and cooking these past few years, however it gets really annoying. I miss the refridgerator and microwave, and not having to wait an hour for hot water to heat up so that I can take a bath. I know my parents are getting frustrated with their bills and they have started arguing with each other more and more about money.

So I have started this campain as a way to pay off the electric bill and begin renovation of the house so that we can have tenants to help the house pay for itself. I know my parents cannot do this by themselves and I will contribute after I graduate college, but until then, any contribution by you is greatly appreciated.
