Leah's Hope

Six year old German White Shepherd -- Leah -- has been diagnosed with an inflamed kidney that's no longer functioning and her life now depends on costly antibiotics and pain killers for survival.
Veterinarians speculate the cause of kidney failure is due to a potentially malignant mass found in her pelvic region via ultrasound. Necessary treatment entails the removal of Leah's left kidney and a bioptic procedure, to determine whether the mass is cancerous.
As a rescued dog, whose harsh beginnings in life were less than humane, we graciously ask for your help in securing Leah's future as a healthy, happy, member of Sonoma's thriving canine community.
