My First Major Book

I am a 27-year-old writer and researcher based in Montreal, Canada. I have been working as a writer for roughly eight years, primarily freelance, documenting and analyzing - in plain English for access to all - the history, ideas, institutions and individuals of power politics, economics and finance, war and empire, environmental degradation and global revolutionary upheaval. 

I need funds to support my time and research in compiling my first volume of a series of books, providing an introduction to the real structures and nature of our society, the parasitic nature of politics, financial markets acting like a global mafia, states ravaging the world through imperial ambitions, power-mad characters worthy of fiction's greatest villains, and a story of humanity in its time of greatest peril, with possibilities as to how we might collectively change course. 

I've been doing the research for years, but I need to raise enough money to be able to put in the time and effort in order to focus and finish the introductory book in what I plan to make an evolving series of books examining the world's dominant institutions of power.
