Nancy's Recovery Fund

My mother Nancy Hunt had an abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery on September 3, 2014. She has been hospitalized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care since August 28. Due to the recovery and rehabilitation needed, she will be incapable of working and returning to her normal level of activity for some time. The surgery was successful, and her last (of 3) aneurysm has been repaired, and we are all incredibly grateful. However, we have been financially handicapped by losing her ability to make money as well as medical expenses added to monthly bills.

We appreciate any and all assistance offered. My mother is a selfless, gentle woman with an immensely kind heart and generous soul. She raised us almost entirely on her own, and worked 3-4 jobs at a time to keep food on our table and a roof over our heads. She has spent her life trying to help others whom are less blessed than she considers herself, and anyone who knows her will tell you what a wonderful woman she truly is. Hers is a life very much worth saving, and our family is so grateful to her medical staff and everyone whom have contributed and continue to contribute to her lifesaving procedures and long, arduous road to recovery.
