Fund World Champion and Wife

Last month, I won the world grappling team trials and qualified to represent Team USA at the upcoming 2014 FILA Pankration Submission World Championships in Budapest, Hungary (October 23rd – 25th). I am excited to once again compete for the United States at the international level, but unfortunately, this trip must be self-funded. If I cannot raise the funds before October 1st, then I might need to withdraw from the tournament. I NEED YOUR HELP!
How will I use the funds raised? 100% of all donated funds will cover the costs for me to travel to Europe and represent Team USA at the 2014 FILA Pankration Submission World Championships (international airfare + hotels + meals). And if I can raise the full $5500, then my dear wife, Brynne, will join me as we venture to Budapest together!
Brynne and I have 5 beautiful children that keep us both busy! In the past, my wife has not been able to travel with me due to costs. She has been my support and inspiration throughout this journey, sacrificing so much to help me get where I am as an athlete and member of Team USA! In 2013, her brother died of leukemia, which was a shocking and difficult challenge for her. If possible, I want to take Brynne with me to the 2014 FILA Pankration Submission World Championships so we can share this experience together. In fact, I need her there!
I have competed in this same tournament before, fighting as the HWT member of Team USA. I made it to the finals 4 times, winning gold in 2011. This might be one last shot to compete in the world championships and go for gold! LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN!
