Disney's Story: Help dogs with Cancer

Donation protected
Help, please.
It pains me to ask for help, but it is something I must do. As some of you know, my dog Disney passed away on August 21st. I am heartbroken and struggling to cope with the loss. You see Disney was my best friend; my heart.
I loved Disney the first time I met her and felt an instant connection. Disney was meant for me, because Disney was a healer. In her 13 years of life, she supported me through 13 surgeries. She lay with me, comforted me and gave me a reason to keep fighting. Some time in 2010, we noticed Disney was taking on all my health issues. I had an auto-immune disorder, she got an auto-immune disorder. I have a major cartilage issue, she got Cancer in her cartilage. I have eye trouble, she got eye problems. It was so bad that after my surgery in June I was feeling sick from the surgery. Disney looked at me threw up and we both suddenly felt fine. She spent her whole life healing me.
The last months of Disney's life, she didn't feel well; but she still made a lasting impact. Daniella, the girl I care for with Down's Syndrome, was deathly afraid of dogs. We slowly introduced Daniella to Disney, which involved Disney getting kicked in the face, hit with a brush and stared at for hours. Over the summer, Daniella and Disney became friends. It's like Disney knew it was her job to help Daniella overcome her fear. Now, Daniella doesn't scream and run from dogs. She sees dogs as her friend. After Disney passed Daniella searched all over the house looking for her friend. Eventually, she sat down on Disney's bed and just looked sad that her new friend was gone. Disney changed Daniella's life.

The only way I can cope with this huge loss is to do something positive in Disney's name. Her life was saved in 2012 by a miracle surgery that could only be performed at the University of Florida. I would like to start a scholarship/financial aid program at the Oncology Vet Hospital at the University of Florida and at Dr. Victor Brown's office in Naples, Florida. The financial aid would help dogs who need life saving surgeries, but whose owners cannot afford the surgery.

I cannot afford to start a financial aid/scholarship program in Disney's name alone. I need help. Could you please spare any money possible? It could be the loose change in your car, it all adds up.
Disney was a healer in life and I would like her to continue being a healer in death. Please help me to help another animal in need.

Thank you so much for your support.
