Penske Christmas Fundraiser

WELCOME! We are launching our 2nd Annual Christmas Fundraiser.

Last year we helped over a 100 kids get toys. This year we wanted to go a step further and team up with The Mercy Home for Boys and Girls and sponsor children’s wish lists.

Mercy Home serves youth ages 11 to 18 (In some instances up to 21 years old).  All of the youth in The Mercy Home for Boys and Girls have experienced some type of trauma that brought them to Mercy, whether that was physical, mental, sexual, or emotional abuse. Some of them for years. All the youth live on site.

Currently, there are 120 youth in 14 different Programs at the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls here in Chicago.  Each resident is asked to create a list of up to three items they would most like to receive for Christmas, in order of their preference.  The total gift for each child does not $50.00.

We believe that we can raise the $1000 to sponsor 20 kids at least. If we go above our goal, then that is even better. These kids don't have parents to celebrate the holiday with and we can  help make it as special as possible by donating. Our goal is to raise the funds by November 21, 2014. We will then personally go child by child and buy all the presents listed on their wish lists. Then on Monday December 8th, the Director will pick the items up from Penske Cicero and take them to Mercy Home. 
 
In the New Year, we will be sent a donor package including a video and pictures of the kids opening up the gifts that  we will share with you.

It’s time to continue the giving we began last year and maximize our efforts so that we can impact these kids holiday by SHOWING THAT WE CARE! Come on Penske Team, Friends and Family! Let's show our Holiday Spirit!

Every little bit counts and will go a long way with these kids!
