Help get my boys back!!

I have been divorced for 11 years. Never remarried. Every year that we have been divorced, he has taken me to court for custody. I have kept custody every time. The boys are 15 and 17. They have never wanted to live with their father. When we divorced he was starting to abuse my 2 older children. So I left him. He is vicious, selfish, very materialistic, his wife is an alcoholic. We had a court date for Sept 5th. I did not make it to court because of car problems. He lied to the judge because I was not there. Telling him that I refused to bring the teenagers to visit. They told him they would NOT visit. But he lied to the judge. I have a lawyer. I have to file the papers to fight the temporary custody he was granted. I cannot file the papers without $2500. Of the cost the lawyer will let me make payments on the rest. Please if anyone can help me.
