Hi, my name is Macaulay.
I recently went on a trip to soardu, Romaina. It was the best thing I have ever done. To think it is two hours away from london but millions of miles away from the western world is crazy. Rationed food, a child living on less than £9 a month, a family of ten living in the same room, brothers and sisters forced to sleep in the same bed. This is something that is on my heart, nobody should live in this conditions.
Romania is one of the absolute poorest countries in Europe. Romania is a nation with a population of 22 million people, yet this number does not even scratch the surface of the population of it's surrounding areas. There are 10 million people in Hungary and 7 million people living in Bulgaria. There is only one set of missionaries for these three nations. Could you imagine being a pastor of 37 million people, or living in an area with that many people and only one set of missionaries? This is why it is important for me to go!
There were many things I did whilst on the first trip, teaching children to write, teaching about the world, showing right from wrong. I was so lucky to have done these things, but the fight isn't over, and thats why I need your help!
So I ask you, even if its £1. Help me to hit this target so I can go back to romania, and give food, laughter, love. So I can support the work of many, these people are outcast by there own people, simply because they are gypsy. it shouldnt happen, and I will not let it it happen! Thank you, God bless.
