Help with my 8mm Film business

Thank you for your interest in my project. I have always been creative and attention detail oriented. My hobbies are vast and I have over twenty years of design/manufacturing in my resume.
I have the opportunity to invest in machinery to allow for frame-by-frame HD digital transfering of 8mm and Super8 filmstock. My family has hundreds of feet just waiting for transfer - and I bet yours does too. Not only family memories, but I bet there are great historical moments waiting to be transfered.
Over the years, mirror boxes and telecine projectors have been the means to capture at home - but face it, the quality simply is not worth the effort. The equipment I wish to buy is what I consider the best digital capture process possible....and best of all, no wear-n-tear risk to your precious film.
Once funded, I'll be able to place my order. The equipment is specialized - not something you can walk into a store and purchase. The equipment is built per-order by a trusted vendor and will take me a few months (6 month average) to receive...but well worth the wait.
I have a web domain ready to purchase to perform as the gateway to those interested.
Typical local and online vendors who posess the proper equipment charge between $50 - $90 to transfer your 8mm or Super8 film to digital....plus, you have shipping fees to endure. I'm confident with my techincal and creative background I can beat any price out there.
My vision is to continue the avenue already happening - eliminate the need for physical media. So much data is merely downloaded today and broadband connections, fast servers are commonplace.
My process and website development would allow the customer to download their content upon transfer completion. So many home users are streaming media to their TVs today that it simply makes sense. Eliminating the physical media saves time and money. Your files would remain available for download up to 30 days - as many times as you'd want. No hidden fees to share the files with family and friends, no files to copy - just share the URL.
Course, not everyone has adopted the discless philosophy. In those cases, I can provide physical DVD media of the transfered film at a slight cost.
Please help me fund this project. Time is running out on film of this type. It would be a disservice to let these memories deteriorate from existance.
