Help a fellow Motorcyclist

This is for my good friend Kenny.  Kenny is the closest thing I have to a brother after losing my twin 3 years ago. Saturday night (9-6-14) Kenny came to the rescue as he always does, after my bike died on 794. After some troubleshooting, I was on the road and off to the gas station.  Kenny was to meet me at my house to make sure we got the problem solved. Kenny did not make it. On the corner of Clement and Howard Ave he went down on some loose gravel. Sadly not even 12 hours later, another gentelmen  went down and lost his life at the same intersection.  Kenny was lucky enough to live but has a long way to go.  He broke his hip in numerous places, and his left leg is kept in "traction" for alignment purposes.  He will be going into 2 surgeries over the next week.  Kenny is a single father of an 8 year old boy. He owns his own LLC doing roofing, sididng, windows, and other home remodeling.  Due to this injury, Kenny will be out of work for at least the rest of the year and may not be able to return to what he spent his whole adulthood doing. When Kenny does get out, he may be forced to move out of his place if he cannot make the rent. On top of all of this, Kenny being self employed has no medical insurance of any kind.  We looked into programs at Froedtert Hospital for financial assistance. But as of yesterday 9/9/14, he was denied due to income...go figure.   the limit is $900 a month. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.  Kenny would give the shirt off his back and I've litterally watched him do so. Kenny is a gentle giant and would never ask for any type of help, so this is why I am. If you can find it in your heart and are able to help out, anything and everything will go a long way to help him and his family at this time of need. If you ride, or know someone who is self employed. Then you may be famililar with this situation. Feel free to share this and pass along. Let help one of our own brother out while he is down.
