Kung Fu in MMA

Hello. I aspire to be an MMA fighter. What makes me different from other fighters is that I plan to use Kung Fu inside of the arena of MMA. I have trained in several traditional martial arts and the lack of traditional techniques displayed in the game of MMA surprises me. The few people I see who use traditional arts seem to lose so I want to change that. I am 5'9 and want to fight in the flyweight or bantamweight division. (125-135)

That being said where I differ from traditionalist martial artists who enter cage fighting competitions is that I am also training the martial arts that are already utilized within the competitions. Currently I am training jiu jitsu under a nova uniao black belt and different grappling arts. I am also supplimenting my striking with boxing and muay thai training. However all of this isn't free and I am also working a part time job to support this dream.

However the ultimate goal of my endeavor is to bring Kung Fu to the light and show that it is an effective system in the ranges it was designed to work. I want to enter first amateur cage fighting competitions and see how I end up doing, if victory materializes consitently who knows how far this could end up going.
