My name is Arri. I'm in my mid-twenties and was recently diagnosed with hearing loss, which means I need hearing aids. Unfortunately, hearing aids are ridiculously expensive, starting at $3,000 for a basic model and reaching just over $5,000 for ones with full features. My entire family works full time, but even so we just don't have that kind of extra money right now.
Much of my job involves being on the phone, transcribing interviews, and working with people in crowded environments so hearing aids are pretty essential and I'm desperate to get them as soon as possible.
Every contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and means the world to my family and me.
