Saying goodbye

My grandmother has lived with breast cancer for as long as I can remember and has always evoked an optimistic energy and spirit I aspire to emulate.
Last Friday, she had an MRI scan (her very first) and suffered from cardiac arrest due to a reaction to the contrast dye. This is a very tragic accident which resulted from what should have been a routine medical evaluation.
It took them almost an hour to get her going again, and she was placed in an induced coma over the weekend. Later scans showed that she had no brain activity and she was taken off of the machines and passed away.
My family has struggled a lot with financial expenses lately, not limited to studying abroad, my education, and various other expenses related to moving costs. As a result, I am asking for some help to set off the cost of going to say goodbye to my grandmother this weekend.
Not including the cost of my parents roundtrip flight from MSP to San Diego, my own flight will cost $550 dollars (at the least). Even so, I am willing to take a connecting flight, by myself, in order to spend 48 hours of time with my family in California and grapple with the emotions I am feeling and the tragedy which has occurred.
I ask for anyone reading this to think of my family, and if you have any amount to give I would appreciate it greatly (as would my parents).
I am aware of how much my parents do for me financially, supporting my college education and paying for my rent, and I would like to help them in return.
I have already experienced the gracious generosity of you all with your kind words and love. All I ask is for a bit more assistance, if you are able, to be able to grieve and properly say goodbye without further cost to my family.
Please think about if this is something you are able to do and know that I am so grateful for any assistance.
