Help Tony with Legal Fees

Donation protected
So, today I heard from my lawyer, "I've got good news and I've got bad news. Which do you want to hear first?" The good news is I won't be going to jail, and I get to keep my license. The bad news is I've got a whole ton of money I have to pay in fees. Yikes!

Here's my story, folks: As many of you know, I was in a car accident some months back, at the fault of another driver. I was left with whiplash and a destroyed car. But it wasn't the end of the world, because at least the other guy's insurance was paying for things. However, the bad news turned out to be that my license was suspended. Now, I hadn't known it was suspended. It turns out someone typoed my name (CASHID instead of CASHIO), and I had an unpaid fine from 2011 that I was never informed about.

Yeah, I know, that seems pretty dumb, huh? Funny how a bit of sloppy handwriting could translate into this colossal headache. Georgia takes suspended licenses very seriously. Long story short, between lawyer fees and court fees, I'm looking at around $1500.

I've been out of work for a while now due to some anxiety issues that I've been wrestling to get under control. I've done a pretty good job of getting by, but life has been playing a bit of hardball lately. Frankly, I'm in a very tight spot with these fines. I'm sure many people know that I'm a relatively prideful person, and I've in fact turned down offers of help on more than one occasion. Asking for help like this isn't easy for me.

I've done my best to include some neat rewards for people who are donating, because I'm uncomfortable just asking for handouts. I'd like to give back in the ways that I am capable of doing so. I don't expect to hit the full number in fines, but every little bit helps. Hopefully, I can help people to feel like they got something positive out of their donation.

Thanks so much for reading this, whether you choose to donate or not. I've got some absolutely amazing friends, and you all are the only reason I could ever feel comfortable enough asking like this in the first place. Not because I think people will donate, but because I know that I can admit to my own shortcomings and still be embraced by the people in my life.
