Photographer needs a camera!

Hello, friends and family, acquaintences, strangers, etc.
My name is Morgan Miller and I graduated from art school with a BFA in photography in March 2013. I have been consistently unemployed since 2012, and have not been able to even save up for a professional quality camera and lens(es) for work, especially as I now have a gross amount of student loans to pay off. I really need employment, and my main obstacle of getting a job in photography (working as second shooter, and any other photography entry level positions) is my lack of a professional-grade camera, and I cannot afford to rent a camera every time I am booked for something or beg a friend to borrow one. Over the past year, I have been lucky enough to have been able to borrow equipment when booked for portrait sessions, and I never stop working toward finding work, and I never stop working on my portfolio.
My current camera is one I learned how to take a technically good photograph, though not one that produces high quality for clients to print enlargements, nor does it work with better lenses needed. I have developed my style over the course of schooling and my continuous shooting since graduating.
My goal amount is pretty steep because cameras are-- unfortunately--very pricey, and so are lenses + extra accessories for the equipment, and this is why I am having a hard time saving. It would mean the world to me if you could help, even a little bit.
