Help Maria Meet Pope Francis

Hello everyone! I have been given the opportunity to help direct a local children's choir that will be travelling to the Vatican! While there, the choir will be singing at the 40th Internation Congress of Pueri Cantores, which includes singing at the World Peace Day Papal Mass at St. Peter's Basillica on New Year's Day, which will be presided by Pope Francis. 

We will be leaving December 26, 2015 and coming back to Detroit January 2, 2016. While there, we be seeing the Sistene Chapel, ancient ruins, St. Peter's Basillica, the tomb of Pope John Paul II, the Vatican Museums, the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain.

While there, the Pope will come to our rehearsal, be presiding mass, and will host an audience that I will be attending.

I am BEYOND thrilled for this trip. However, the out of pocket expense is quite a bit, so I will need to do some fundraising. This gofundme will be active until the trip, but I am also open to do fundraising on my own and with the rest of the group if anyone has an activities or fundraising ideas!
