Help Me March Boston

Hello, my name is Matthew Carstensen, and I would like to march in a Drum Corps this summer. Drum Corps can be described as professional Marching Band, and Drum Corps International, the primary circuit for Drum Corps in America, styles themselves as Marching Music's Major League. I want to be a part of one of these elite performing ensembles. The issue I have found is that these ensembles cost a considerable amount of money, and fees can be in excess of $3500. I am trying to be able to go to college next year and my family is helping me through that. They cannot help with both school and DCI. I would like you to help me with this opportunity. I can only march a DCI member corps until I am 21, because that is the maximum age permitted in DCI, so I have a limited time frame and would like to get as much time marching as possible. I want to spend this upcoming summer with 149 other youth, trying to put a never before seen show on the field and make an end product that is greater than the sum of all of the parts.
I have been contracted by the Boston Crusaders of Boston, MA on Contra and am looking forward to this fantastic experience.
