Let Me Walk Through Paradise

We believe in the plan of salvation: "Family is forever. Fill your life with family and friends. Treat your family like friends and your friends like family. Family is the most important thing in the world. A family is one of nature's greatest masterpieces. Love lives in happy hearts. Always Family." This is the message that my beloved wife, Puni lived by: Family first.
For the past nineteen years I have been nothing, but blessed. Blessed with a beautiful woman who loved beyond boundaries and showed me how to love in return. My wife is my home. She is my warmth, my strength, my comfort...the reason I slept soundly through the night and the reason I got up to start a new day. She is my everything, but on Saturday August 23rd, everything changed.
To celebrate our anniversary, I surprised my wife with a plane ticket home to visit her family in Utah. What was supposed to be a joyous reunion, turned tragic when she suddenly fell ill. Every time we spoke, I felt something was off. She said, "The weather is finally catching up to me hun because I'm coming down with a cold." A simple cold. How were we supposed to know? Her family said the next morning, she walked out of her room shivering, asking for a blanket, yet it was over 90 degrees. My wife doesn't even wear a sweater here in San Francisco, but they wrapped her up and tried to keep her as warm as possible. Little did they know it was a heart attack. On 2:55pm, my wife was taken away from me and I didn't even get to say goodbye.
I couldn't live without my wife. It wouldn't be right for us to stay apart; for me to be in one place while she is laid to rest in another...somewhere far...somewhere without me. I had to bring her home.
The first step is done. She is back here with me where she belongs. Now, I ask all of you to help me lay her to rest.
With Love,
Eric Mulipola
