Hello,
My name is Collin Issitt. I was born and raised in Abilene, KS. I was raised as a gear head and spent as much time as possible in the garage. I graduted High School and decided to put my time in the United Stated Army. I spent a total of 5 years in the Army, and did two, 12 month deployments. One to Iraq, and one to Afghanistan. After getting out of the military I struggled with PTSD and conforming back to civilian life. It took me a few years and quite a bit of work, but I am about as happy as I can be these days. I recently had a daughter and she is the center of my world. When I first got out of the military, I spent most of my time in the garage again, customizing a motorcycle that I had purchased while in the service. A few years later the bike is complete and I've actually won an award with it. It took the "Best Creative Custom" award at a local bike show. I couldn't have completed this project without the help and dedication of a few great freinds. Since I finished that build, I have taken on some more less serious builds in my spare time, and I have found that I really have a passion for working with motorcycles and metal. However, every time I need to do some real customization, I have to lean on certain individuals for thier "equipment". I have no problem asking, and they have no problem helping, but I'd like to transition from part time, to full time chasing my dreams and passion. I am asking for help from my peers and the community in general. I'd like help purchasing some high dollar tools that I just can't afford on my own. I need a decent welder, some metal forming tools and a torch. If you have read this far,I really appreciate you taking your time to read this. Even if this doesn't happen I will still chase my dream, and I will still build custom motorcycles.
