I was born at a very early age...

<fast forward>

I always enjoyed collecting things...

At 17, I discovered I was, for lack of a less clichéd term, an artist...

<fast forward>

Over the years I've had a string of muses -- lyrical, musical, visual, theatrical, philosophical...

<fast forward>

Once I had a strange dream that became a Dream. In the former, I was having two opening shows. In the first of these, I had created existential sculptures large enough for one viewer to be fully inside each. And in each one was an environment of sight and sound and texture and smell for each audience member to experience in turn. In the second show, I was living in the gallery and building the pieces for the first show. Audience members could visit while I worked and see the scope of the process itself, as it unfolded.

During 2006and7, I got trained and certified as a life coach. I work with people to make their big D dreams into realities. We talk and set goals and talk and build motivation and talk and they move forward. And their dreams become

<fast forward>

Being around people living into their life-goals all the time rubs off. And to really stand in my own authenticity, there's some walking I need to do to go with all my talking...

<fast forward>

See, I've got a big D stuck here under my chest. Something I've always wanted to make real. And I can't honestly coach people toward being and doing what they dream, if I'm not fully living it.

<fast forward>

I owe it to my clients, to myelf, and to you, world. I owe it to everything I stand for and everything I hope for us and everything I am.

And I need your help.

<quarter speed>

I'm going to move into The Brink Gallery  in Missoula, Montana in April of this year for 28 days . I'm going to live and work there, perform there, and build a visual installation there. And I want to capture it all on live camera feed.

<eighth speed>

I calculate that this will cost approximately $4320.00.
That's $1600 for video and audio recording equipment;
$1,000 for the month of live streaming service; about $600 for lumber, masonite, primer, and construction; $600 for food; $200 for hot glue sticks; and an additional $320 for the fees GoFundMe, etc., will take out.

I need it by March 21st, so that I can purchase everything I need to set up for the show.

<sixteenth speed>

So what do you say? Interested in collaborating with me to make this strange dream into a reality? It should be quite a spectacle...

Oh, and the show is called DreamCatching.
