Ramon's Surgery Fund!

Sometimes life surprises you and unexpected circumstances can flip life upside-down from one day to the next. My father, Ramon Wals, has been an installation in the Atlanta music scene for a long time (don't make me take out the pictures of him getting his start with a band playing the Briarcliff High School Graduation many moons ago!). Recently he was diagnosed with a Synovial Cyst on the fourth lumbar. So, what does that mean in everyday speak? Well a group of cells decided to run a muck and are pressing a nerve in my Dad's spine. The condition causes debilitating pain and if left untreated, can cause paralysis. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!

So we've made the only decision there is to make and that is to have immediate surgery. As is the case with many working musicians, my Dad is uninsured. Being uninsured means he will need to pay for this procedure and his time out of work completely. Proud as he is, he let me convince him to setup a crowd sourcing page to help him out.
