Help Mars get Back Surgery

This is Mars. He is a miniature Dachshund with a huge spirit. Mars recently hurt his back and requires surgery. He has lost all feeling in his back legs and is unable to move, go to the bathroom, and be the fun-loving dog that he normally is.
I want Mars to be able to walk again, so I need your help.
Mars will need an X-ray, blood test, and MRI to determine exactly where the procedure will need to be done. This will cost roughly $2,300. The surgery visit itself will cost an additional $3,000. This includes the surgery and everything associated with it, such as the hospital stay, pain medication, and anesthesia.
I am so sure of these costs because this has happened to Mars in the past. He has had surgery on his back that I paid for in full. He recovered perfectly and was able to walk and run up until this incident. I can't afford the surgery this time, but it's impossible to imagine Mars not being able to walk again.
