Raquel's Surgery Fund

Hi, I'm Raquel and need your help! I was injured around August 9th at my football game. I was told it was nothing but a sprain and when swelling didn't go down and the bruising looked bad, I couldn't help but think it was something worse. I went to get X rays and sure enough I have 2 fractures on my tibia, a small fracture on the back side of my talus and 1 fracture on my fibula. I've seen an orthopedic Dr who has put 2 splints on me to try to fix the issue and no luck. He told me today that my multiple fractures and torn tendons are a time sensitive issue and need surgery soon! I did a stupid mistake in playing a contact sport and not having insurance. I am already about $1000 into this and will need about $7,500 for surgery. It is scheduled for this up coming Wednesday. I am grateful for any large or small donation. I'm scared to death to get this surgery but it is necessary for my future to be able to walk normally again. Thank you for your time, prayers and donations anything helps!
