Hope For Lauri

This is my good friend, Lauri Krehbiel.  She goes to my church, and she sings in the choir, does solos, and plays the drums there.  She is a hair stylist, and is also on the security staff at Jiffy Lube Live.  On August 19, she was struck by a speeding car near her home, and suffered severe trama.  She was airlifted to the hospital with bleeding on her brain, a broken pelvis, and lumbar, both legs broken and numerous other lacerations.  She has been in the ICU trauma unit, and there was much concern at first whether or not she would make it.  But many people began praying for her, and she is beginning to respond.  She had surgery to put rods in both legs, and is facing more surgery over the next weeks, and possibly months ahead.  She is still in very serious condition, and it's going to be a long journey ahead for her.  Lauri has such a sweet spirit, and always has a smile for anyone she meets.  She is a wonderful example of allowing God's love to show in herself.  She will not be able to work for possibly a long time, and so I am reaching out to ask for help for her.
