As many of you know, I was blessed to have a long and successful basketball career - I was able to travel the world, meet many genuine people, and learn a great deal about not only them, but myself.
Since I retired from basketball I have been looking for a way to give back to the community that helped shape me as a player. I have decided to start my own basketball academy - my focus will be individual training, skills development, and an overall respect for the game. A level of respect that requires one to give all they have in order to achieve their goals. My ultimate goal is to open a basketball only facility where the people (young and old) of my hometown can enjoy this wonderful game that gave me so much - however, that's down the road.
Right now, I am asking for donations to help get this off the ground. The donations this project receives will go directly towards securing gym time, marketing (flyers, posters), and equipment (shirts, balls). Any amount is greatly appreciated, as it will be one step closer to providing the aspiring basketball players in Orange County, NY a place to achieve their dreams. Your kindness will only help to propel this forward.
