Donna's starting over fund

Monday morning on August 7th my sister Donna Vallee and 8 other renters of a four plex in Surrey escaped a violent fire. Donna was sent to Surrey Memorial Hospital early that morning.

Thankfully the fire did not take any human lives, but 3 of Donna's little dogs perished. One dog survived and she is temporarily staying with Esther (one of her neighbours that was also living in the four plex).
Esther has been so helpful and caring. Donna has been devastated over her loss of her pets. As of now we cannot go in to see if anything is left intact as it is unsafe.

Donna needs a suite to rent and very likely some furiniture, a bed and household items. She still remains in the hospital. I would estimate the cost of her needs to be  approximately $5000. Our goal is starting at $1000.

Other ways to help would be second hand clothes in size 10-12 and/or second hand furniture, non perishable items, and dog food for a small dog. Any of these items would be greatly appreciated.

We have not found a place yet for Donna but are hoping to find something by the end of August. This is our goal and also when we would be needing items or monetary help.
