UPDATED INFO ENCLOSED: Hi, it's Griffin and Jane's pal/neighbor Bird York. Our beloved Griffin was in a serious "no fault" bike accident resulting in traumatic brain injury. He spent four days in critical care . Out of ICU, he completed a week of premium care at Cedar Sinai and was moved, (8/8), to Rancho Los Amigos, one of the premiere brain injury rehab facilities in the country. He is finishing up a weeks stay there and is due home on Friday. (8-15)
He's improving daily but he's going to need our help now and going forward with medical bills and extensive in patient and out patient rehabilitation most likely lasting for months. Please give ANYTHING you can...even $5, and please post and SHARE with friends. Musicians unite, humans unite. Griff's a dear, dear soul and deserves our love. If you don't know him, skip a latte and pay it forward to a very worthy soul. (It'll feel good, I promise.) All donations are going straight to a trust account for Griffin. Five thousand people donating $20.00 will get us to our goal. Spread the word.
And Jane wants everyone to WEAR YOUR HELMETS. Griff had his on, thank god.
Also, if you want to be the ultimate helper here, please don't only rely on folks seeing the gofundme link that you're (hopefully) going to share on FB. I'm sure many of Griff's friends will miss it by not being online right when it's visible in their feed. Please email people you know who care and would want to help out with http://www.gofundme.com/donate4griffin
included in your email. Thank you, Angel person, for helping the cause.
(Also some have asked about sending checks. Their home address is
2239 Alcyona Drive

update: Griff and Jane THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF THEIR HEARTS!!
They are blown away by the love and generous support. (You'll be getting
a personal note from them soon enough.)
Please email Jane if you'd like to visit Griffin.
We're 35 percent to our fundraising goal in two weeks (which is AMAZING). You guys have really shown up, THANK YOU.
Please think about sharing the gofundme link (above) again on FB in another few days. I find that
sometimes I need to see a donation notice more than once to finally
throw down. We're gonna get these two lovely souls through this. Much love from all of us.
