USAF TSgt/Cyclist needs help

Donation protected
December 17th, 2013 at 4:30 pm, the life of Kristina Bacon was forever changed. Kristina, a single mother, U.S. Air Force Iraq veteran and current reservist, was riding her bicycle in Bastrop when a 16 year old driver, driving at high speed, made a left turn into her.
Every aspect of her life has changed since the crash. One day a career Air Force sergeant, a cyclist, a friend and a member of this community; the next she is being flown to a trauma center and she is fighting for her life. Today she is in the process of being discharged from the Air Force due her injuries and spends most of her day doing therapy.
As a community we are putting our hearts together to help someone that at one point in time put her life on the line for this country. Today members of the 74th Aerial Port Squadron ATOC Team and the cycling community of Austin are asking for your help.
Kristina is left with a huge financial burden and she deals with her physical pain every day. Her positive attitude, her strength and our generosity are going to help Kristina get back on her feet and maybe one day soon she will be back to defend the country she loves.
Keep strong Kristina!
Sincerely, thank you all for your support!
