KV Outreach: Domestic Violence
Donation protected
I have recently begun volunteering for the KV Outreach program to help those affected by domestic violence within the Kennebecasis Valley. It is a problem that is far more prevalent than you believe (more than half of the phone calls to the great men and women at Kennebecasis Regional Police are domestic issues). This affects us all, yet no-one wants to talk about it. It happens behind closed doors and stays behind closed doors. 1 in 4 women are affected by domestic abuse at some point in their lives. And we are all affected by it directly or indirectly. Organisations like KV Outreach doing incredible work saving women's lives despire being under staffed and massively under financed. I wish to help them continue to do the work they do and raise $3000 for them by Christmas. They need this money. They are so under financed that sometimes there isn't even enough money in the pot for a cab to rescue someone from a bad situation. This needs to be fixed now and we are going to do it together. Please, please donate. Even if it's just a dollar. But a hundred dollars would literally save women's lives. And I will personally do you any favour you wish if you are kind enough to donate.
