Springfield Monday Night Meet

This is to fund the cost of hiring an off-duty Fairfax County Police officer to patrol the Springfield Monday Night Meet @ the Saratoga Park and Ride. The meet has gotten so large that this is going to be the only way to keep it sustainable. They WILL NOT be there looking to write tickets for your exhaust or lack of front plate. But if you smash your car into a light pole showing off your serious drifting skills, you're definitely going to get a ticket.
The cost is $35 an hour, with a minimum of 4 hours, from 8pm-12pm. The goal is to pay for the Monday on September the 8th, 15th, and 22nd. If for some reason this meet does get shutdown (after speaking to the local LEO this evening, we dont forsee this being an issue), any leftover money will be donated to Reach Out WorldWide. We have one week to collect, so that way myself and Duane Hapner have sufficient time to get a request filed next week.
Donating $10-$25 a month is a small price to pay for having a meet at such a great location with the added security of having an actual police officer on hand. Everyone always complains about the nonsense that happens at meets. Well here is your chance to do something about it. If this goes well, we will be asking EVERYONE to help donate EVERY MONTH.
