Overwhelmed With Car Troubles

Hello my name is Harlea and I'm at the end of a rope hanging off a cliff when it comes to my car. I have a 1994 Honda Accord that I got from a buy-here pay-here dealership in October of 2013 when I was still pregnant with my son. My boyfriend and I traded his single cab truck in because it had no reverse and we needed something bigger and safer for our family. We both have no credit so we had no choice but to go to the buy-here pay-here dealer. As soon as we paid the car off last month the transmission went out in it and we had to have the dealer pay to fix it. Now we are making payments on an addition $800 with a total of $4,700 spent on this lemon. This past week we had a tire blowout on us when we were on our way to work. I bought brand new tires for it and yesterday it started overheating. I got stranded dropping my son off to daycare, I went home after work and put coolant in it and went to pick up my boyfriend at work and broke down again with my son in the hot Florida sun. It seems to be that I have blown a head gasket and I can't afford to get it fixed. I desperately need transportation so me and my son's father can work and pay our bills. I have no where to turn and I don't know what to do. My ultimate wish is to be able to afford a car that is safe and reliable for my family. I'm the type of person who doesn't ever ask for help but I am now in hopes that someone with a kind heart can spare some money to help me and my family get to point A to point B safely. My goal is $5,000 because I want to be able to pay off what I owe on the Honda and use the rest for a car insurance policy (which I desperately need as well) and a down payment on a safer, more reliable vehicle.
