Lady's Heartworm Treatment

On June 28th, Lady and Gus found us. We brought them both to the vet for a "Wellness" visit but it wasn't thorough enough to catch that Lady was heartworm positive. We didn't find that out until August 10th (Dad's birthday) when we thought we were simply bringing all four dogs in to get up to date on their yearly shots.
Thankfully the other three tested negative however they will have to be restested in 6 months.

On Sunday, August 24, when we brought Lady in to meet the vet for the first exam and to discuss treatment options we were informed she also has a heart murmur.  We are working with the vets to get treatments started but they are trying to determine which method will be best given her age (8-9) and her heart murmur.
