Dirk Dellinger hospital fee's

Thank you all for your prayers.    I had extremely high blood pressure around Xmas and had many test. My extremely high BP 220/110 would not go away.  I ended up having 2 strokes and they found the problem which was 90% corotid artery blockage.  I am so happy to be alive but now have Insurance problems I had no idea about.  I bought insurance like the government mandates.  I had Co-Opportunity Health insurance which was thrown out of Iowa Feb. 1st.  New Coventry plan from Afordable Care Act didnt cover the  hospital I was rushed to (so my deductable was 7500 plus 50/50% after that).  I spent 6 days there before I had to leave and find new doctors in the Mercy Iowa system.   I had surgery and feel like a new person now and can walk again but the now reality hits as the  Bills keep coming in.  Last posted had reached 17,000.00
