Creative Thoughts Lab is working diligently with Creative Learning Systems to create a plan that will serve our youth. We are excited to be creating a 12-student SmartLab that will provide our students with limitless opportunities for technological exploration!
The cost of each lab includes all furniture, hardware, software, curriculum, construction, scientific kits, professional development and installation.
The first SmartLab payment is due Dec 2016, with the remaining balance due by the end of March 2017.
We need your financial assistance to make this a reality for our youth. Here are the areas where we are seeking support.
$71,800 TOTAL FOR FURNITURE, HARDWARE, ACCESSORIES AND INSTALLATION, INCLUDING:
• Twelve student workstations and two fully-equipped facilitator zones
• Storage system k’nex, construction set storage, locking cabinets
•Camera and Computer Controlled monitoring system
with LED display in each lab
• 7 Macbooks for students and facilitators
• 7 Mac computers with large LCD monitors for Elementary students and facilitator
• Accessories including microphones, headphones,
hard drives, tablets, cameras, tripods & printers
$28,200 TOTAL FOR CURRICULUM, SOFTWARE, KITS AND APPARATUS, INCLUDING:
• Learning Launchers Curriculum, ePortfolio Project Planning, Tracking and Assessment System, support
& professional development: $15,000
• WeDo Robotics and software (ES) $450
• Snap Circuits alternative energy and electrical circuitry (ES/MS) $1,750
• K’nex kits (ES) $750
• Vernier Science elementary collection & accessories (ES) $750
• Sensing science probeware and software (ES/MS) $1,750
• 3D modeling kits (ES/MS) $750
• Animation software (ES/MS) $500
• Comic and storytelling software collection (ES/MS) $750
