D.E.C.A. stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America and prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Through my school and our D.E.C.A. club I have the opportunity to go on a trip to New York that, if funded, will further my education in the core values of D.E.C.A. Going to New York is something I've never done and is a once in a life time opportunity. My goal is set upon the amount of money I need per payment and extra expenses while I'm there. I will need $300 by September 19th, $250 by October 24th, $250 by November 21st, and $250 by January 15th. I plan to donate any extra money that I gather past my $1500 goal for expenses and cost of the trip to my school's clubs and sports. Payments may be tax deductible. I am also fund raising locally and will update the page at the end of each month on the amount of money I've recieved.
