More happy years with Arlo!

Since rescuing this special girl, she has had daily hours of well-intended exercise and we've LOVED her hillarious energy! She's been through the Cleveland experience and made it across the country to bless our sweet Denver home! After six weeks of rest from a hurt knee, something finally snapped and the surgery will cost $3500 for a full repair. She's well exercised, so she can hop around on pain pills and anti-inflamitories for up to two weeks before her muscles would begin to atrophy and hinder possible healing later.

A more-affordable procedure exists, so if we don't reach our funding goal, it will cost $1500 for a nylon replacement, which will enable her to be mobile and self-sufficent, but arthritic and never fully functional. 

She is currently 4.5 years old and the vet said Boxers can easily be expected to be healthy and energetic for at least 8-9 years, if not 12 or more. This procedure would likely double her lifetime, and our loving enjoyment of our very special dog!
