The DFW Sled Hockey team is setting up this account in response to the theft of our hockey equipment.
On September 28th, our storage unit was broken in to where approximately $5,000 worth of equipment was stolen. The items were 12 sets of gloves, helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards, hockey bags, and sticks.
The DFW Sled Hockey team provides an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to get out on the ice and play hockey. Due to most individuals with disabilities having limited funds because of medical bills, our organization makes sure that they have no out of pocket expenses. We want them to get out and enjoy the experience and freedom of skating on ice.
