Hello family, friends, fellow shredders, supporters and FANS! I have recently been invited to skate in the 4th annual KDC - KIMBERLEY DIAMOND CUP in SOUTH AFRICA from Oct. 2-5th. They just added a WOMEN'S SKATE CONTEST to the roster, and I couldn't be more stoked!
As some of you may or may not know, with the exception of X GAMES, huge skate contests like these happen year round for the Guys, and seldomnly include a Women's division.
KDC will be offering strong media exposure, live webcast, and televised coverage. When big opportunites arise, like KDC adding a Women's competition, it's a chance for us to get out there to skate our best. This helps bring a sense of awareness to the fact that Women's skate events are in demand, and equally as entertaining as the Men's competitions.
Since this killer opportunity is not being held in the United States and traveling expenses are so incredibly high, I find myself here reaching out to you in the hopes of gaining your collective support. I am asking for financial assistance in the amount of $3,000 to supplement my contributions towards airfare, ground travel, and accomodations. I am looking to raise these funds by Friday, September 19th...which is a 1 week time frame. Any help with this would be deeply appreciated.
