Support for The Derek Hogg Family

Spring of 2013, Derek was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Derek was a respected Firefighter for both Wilmington and Kankakee. He retired a few months shy of recieving his pension, as he was no longer able to perform the required duties. Derek will leave behind his loving wife Hollly and 3 beautiful children (Paxton 5, Hayden 3, and Brinlee 1). After battling ALS for 4 years, Derek made the decision to remove himself from life support.  Please continue to pray for the Hogg Family!

"Tomorrow I go off life support. I have no regrets in life and I'm happy I was able to leave this world greater than I found it ( Paxton, Hayden, and Brinlee). ALS took my ability to move, to eat or drink, to talk, and to even breath. No person should have to live like this. Thank you all for supporting me on this journey.
