Hello! My name is Matthew Miller. On 12/31/13 I was struck by a car as a pedestrian on the sidewalk as collateral to a red light accident. I suffered road rash, scrapes and bruises, a mild concussion, a fracture in my pelvis a shattered left tib/fib that broke through the skin, a broken right tib/fib, and my right foot nearly being torn off.
All my wounds have healed over time except one. To this date, I have now had 16 surgeries on my right foot. 15 of these were aimed towards salvage efforts. My most recent surgery on September 5th, 2015 was the amputation of my right foot by recommendation of my doctors.
I have setup this GoFundMe account because we have run out of savings supporting my medical health . We set a goal of $5,000 which would just float us. If we only get a fraction of this, it will still be worth any money raised. I am unable to work while out of state and I will need to be here in Phoenix until November. My wife Olivia, as amazing as she is, cannot pay all the bills by herself.
We know that we are going to have doctors bills and other medical related items come through as not all of my medical is covered by insurance or was "in network". This will be on top of our existing bills.
By creating this account, I would just simply like to ask anyone and everyone for anything that they would be willing to donate to us to help us in this crazy time in our lives. We would be forever grateful!
