Funeral Expenses For Ptsd Victim

We are contacting you on behalf of my father David Gagnon a 48 year old honorably discharged Army Veteran. David was known as a very quiet and kind man but he battled from within.  He was diagnosed with PTSD from an incidents which occurred while in service. He applied for a military pension on numerous occasions but was continuously denied.



My dad whom I write abou has struggled for several years to be a person he could no longer be and in his most recent attempt to secure these benefits & counseling went unanswered and unfortunately due to his battle within David passed away before receiving a positive answer for David could not end his fight with PTSD so on July 5th 2014 he ended his life instead. My Dad, always a hard worker was unable to secure permanent employment or insurance due to this unfortunate condition. He was therefore unable to put money aside to plan for such an event. This is a way to try to raise money for the funeral expenses for him as the VA is giving us no help... He leaves behind myself, my 7 year old sister Miranda whom has Autism and many loving family members.This is the worst Independence Holiday week ever and my heart is not only heavy for him, my little sister and our family but for all those we have lost as well.  Too often this happens to our military. Our government welcomes them to protect and serve but tends to forget them and their families once they have completed their service. Our desire is to honorably send my dad David Gagnon Home.
