The Defiance Area Society for the Handicapped (DASH) is a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization that provides assistance to people with disabilities in Defiance County, Ohio. Our mission has always sought to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
DASH would like to educate the community about our services and accomplishments. One example is our assistance with the cost of lifesaving prescription medications. When people donate locally to DASH, those funds stay right here in our community. Therefore, your donation goes towards saving the lives of fellow residents! It's true! Our donors are saving their next door neighbors and the kids down the street! Our donors are real life HEROES!
Now in existence for over 25 years, DASH continues to provide lifesaving services in our community. To continue our mission of assisting those with disabilities; we rely solely on the contributions of local donors like you. No donation amount is too small to feel a great sense of reward through giving!
In fact, it is with your generous contribution that we will make a difference right here in Defiance County.
Our services include the following: 1) assistance with the purchase of lifesaving prescription medications, 2) gas vouchers to out of town medical appointments, 3) free medical equipment loans, 4) a summer speech program, 5) a monthly recreation program, and much more.
Without the assistance of community-minded individuals like you, we wouldn’t be able to serve those in our community every year. In fact, it is with thanks to all donors that we will always be a source of support to those in our area. That is why we are grateful for all that you do!
