I have Stage IV Metastatic Colon Cancer that has spread to my lungs, liver and spine.
In 2012 I was diagnosed with colon cancer, with a baseball-sized tumor that was growing into my baldder. Cancer has just been found again in my lungs, liver and spine. I am having chemotherapy over the next several months and have been unable to work for 3 years.
I have needs that go beyond medical attention. I live in a mobile home that is not equiped for people with restricted movement issues and general inability to do even simple daily tasks we have all taken for granted.
Building a small handicapped accessible house is too much to hope for, or even building onto the existing structure. However some resturcturing to make a larger bathroom is necessary, as well as making way for lower shelving, a dishwasher, grab bars, or an entry way that will allow a wheelchair to come inside. The front of the place needs a ramp. In short, if I cannot get a small house built, I need to have lots of work done on this one to make it accessible.
I appreciate every donation, no matter how big or small. Having cancer is a horrible, painful situation.
