Dan's Care Team

Dan has been fighting AML (Acute Myloid Leukemia) since 2013. The battle is done, chemo not keeping it at bay. It is currently in his brain and central nervous system. He is coming home with no further treatments.
During his stay, he will need in home care over and above what Hospice can provide. The cost is approx. $100 per day. I have to return to work Feb 8, (currently on FMLA since Nov. 17 2016) After his passing, I will need funds for funeral arrangements and cremation.  When that fateful day arrives, I will not be able to draw from his railroad retirement until October, 2017.  Our family has been emotionally and financially devastated for 3 years during this fight. My rock and sounding board will no longer be here to help myself and our 2 daughters carry on. Big changes for us await in this unkown future, and to be honest, it is a bit scary and daunting.
