Benefit for childrens hospital

Hello,
I am setting this up to help my son raise money for the radiology dept at Oakland Children's Hospital to be able to purchase a set of video goggles for children to be able to use while having MRI testing.
Children's hospitals hold a special place in the hearts of our family since both Damian (6) and his little brother, Brayden (4), have both been patients on numerous occasions at several different children's hospitals in California.
Damian first knew of these goggles from one of his own MRI tests at a children's hospital in San Diego. We have since relocated to the bay area and while he was having a check-up MRI at the children's hospital here, he was disappointed that there was nothing for kids to be able to "do" while going thru these tests.
As we were leaving the hospital he asked his mom and I if we could try to help him raise money for the radiology dept to be able to buy a set of the video goggles to make it more comfortable for other kids that are having to have these tests done. He even went as far as asking if we could try to have a garage sale and sell any toys that him and his brother don't play with very much anymore to help raise the money.
These goggles cost around $60k and the radiology dept thus far has only been able to raise about $20k. Now I know that setting a goal of $40k is a VERY VERY far reach, but if we don't try we will never know if it can be done. Even if we aren't able to make the whole amount, any little bit will help get them closer.
I have always been impressed by kids that try to take the initiative to help with things that really matter to them and couldn't be more proud of him for wanting to try to do this.
