I don't really know what to say. I have an incurable brain disease. It's rare and the experts say they can't do anything for me. I have never asked for anything in my life. I have always found my own way in the world, but I cant do this alone.
There is an experimental 'drug' that is designed to repair brain cells. In my mind, that sounds a lot better than, your brain is being eaten away and there is nothing we can do.
The treatment costs £160. If I had that money myself, I would get the 'drug' myself.
Please help me. I don't want to become an empty shell of myself, a ghost of who I used to be.
I am not a selfish person. Everyday of my life I try to help people, whether it's nothing more than giving them my time and attention, or actually doing something to help them like raising awareness for whatever help them best.
But I have to ask this because I want to continue having a happy life. I love my life. I deserve to keep it the way it is.
